Intech
Business Parks' distinctive neon sign on a concrete silo is viewed by thousands
of travelers daily on K-10 Highway just outside Eudora. |
The 93-acre Intech
Business Park on the southeast edge of Eudora is well-marked by its distinctive
neon sign on a tall concrete silo. Currently the business park's two largest
occupants are HP Pilsner, an automotive parts manufacturing company, and M-Pact, a manufacturer of
orthopedic products.
Land is still available in Intech Business Park.
Industrial and warehouse/distribution businesses locating in Intech are
eligible for Enterprise Zone incentives including tax credits for new jobs
created, and investment in land, buildings and equipment.
A number of other incentives may be available for
businesses, including--but not limited to property tax moratoriums, Industrial
Revenue Bonds, and Community Development Block Grants. Kansas is a "right
to work" state and the Kansas work force contains a higher percentage of
high school graduates than 42 other states. Intech attracts workers from
several surrounding communities. |
