| Our picturesque downtown provides
a nice mix of retail stores such as Quilting Bits & Pieces, nearby restaurants, professional offices, bank, library,
savings and loan company, and city offices. While Eudora was once known
primarily as a farming community, it now contains a well-balanced combination
of agricultural, manufacturing, and professional workers. |

| Eudora boasts a
progressive mayor-council form of government which encourages positive economic
development and a high quality of life for all residents, coupled with a school
board and administrative staff which are committed to providing the best
possible education for our children. |

| Working together,
the city and schools provide the youth of our community with a great many
recreational activities. A sports complex contains a football field with
permanent bleachers, an asphalt running track, baseball diamonds, tennis
courts, and a swimming pool. Several parks, complete with picnic facilities and
playground equipment, are scattered throughout the community. |
